When does my plan start?
eSIM plans start their validity clock in one of two ways. "On first use abroad" plans only start when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination — you can safely install them before you travel. "When installed" plans start the moment the eSIM is added to your phone — install those on arrival. Either way, make sure data roaming is enabled on the eSIM line when you want to go online.
